Duke Center for Civic Engagement—Director of DukeEngage Edward Marten announced today that all of the summer programs in DukeEngage 2010 will be devoted to fixing all the fuck-ups that occurred in DukeEngage 2009.
“In 2010, we’re going to do our best to ease some of the anger over the false hope we spread across the globe in 2009,” Marten said, “If we can go a whole 10 weeks without embarrassing the University with our obvious attempts to exploit undeveloped countries for public relations purpose, we could consider DukeEngage a success.” (more…)
