Social Science Building—Jake Blinkman, junior chemistry major, received the top grade in his literature class for a paper he composed largely with gibberish words he thought were made up. Professor Marissa Makhlouf awarded an A+ to the paper, cryptically entitled, “Caesura: Body Politic and Sexual Deviance.”

“[Blinkman] endeavored to explore the simulacrum of the philanthropic realpolitik of the mid-postmodern movement,” Makhlouf said, “No one in the class presented any piece as challenging and in sync with the Zeitgeist as Jacob’s treatment of the Caesura.” (more…)
