Belmont—After nearly two months of contemplation and discussion, senior Megan Bendlet ultimately chose to be a lingerie model for Halloween, she informed a group of friends today in a press conference. Bendlet had always planned on not covering her legs, midriff or arms for the holiday, but she had been unable to decide upon a costume that would accomplish the aforementioned aims. “On Oct. 17, I had decided I would be a beach volleyball player,” Bendlet said, “But then, a few days later, I realized I wouldn’t be able to wear heels for that outfit. So it was back to the drawing board.” Only three days ago, while watching a Victoria’s Secret advertisement on television, Bendlet made the decision to masquerade as as a lingerie model. The proposal was quickly approved by her sorority sisters in an emergency gathering and she was applauded for her quick-thinking so close to the deadline.
